Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, sanitize bathrooms, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of needed repairs.Specific Responsibilities:Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.Gather and empty trash.Service, clean, and supply restrooms.Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. .Mix water and chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.Steam-clean or shampoo and extract carpets.Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.Drive or operate powered equipment including ride on scrubbers or industrial ride on vacuum cleaners.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.Qualifications:Must be able perform repetitive motion for extensive amount of timeMust be able to walk long distancesAbility to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to work independently or with a partnerCapable of lifting, bending, stooping, pushing & pulling heavy loadsMust be able to lift and/or carry thirty (30) to fifty (50) pounds
