Job Description
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Craig County Health Center in New Castle, VA, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), where you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and community every day.
Position: Nursing Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (No Weekends)
What You'll Do
As a Nursing Assistant, you'll work alongside our nurses and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care. Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing patients for exams and procedures
- Obtaining and documenting vital signs
- Assisting with patient flow and rooming
- Performing basic clinical duties as assigned
- Supporting providers and the care team to ensure excellent patient experiences
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
