What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement nutritious, delicious menus tailored to patient needs

  • Manage food ordering, receiving, and storage in line with all regulations

  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring safety, sanitation, and smooth workflow

  • Control budgets by analyzing food costs and adjusting menus to stay on track

  • Lead, train, and inspire your dietary team in best practices

  • Keep accurate meal counts and food cost reports

  • Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to address dietary needs and concerns

  • Develop and enforce dietary policies aligned with industry standards

  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary care conferences to support holistic care

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of a Dietary Manager program or related foodservice degree

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) with active credential status

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in foodservice management, preferably in healthcare

  • Skilled in nutritional care for long-term care and sub-acute rehab residents

  • Familiarity with enteral nutrition, wounds, weight management, and hemodialysis is a plus

  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a healthcare environment

  • Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition care compliance

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License

  • Experience with electronic charting (e.g., Point Click Care) is a bonus
