Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Material Handler positions for a Manufacturing company in Frankfort, IN. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Apply now!
Duties for this position include:
• Perform day-to-day material handling operations throughout the production floor
• Load, unload, move, and transport materials using forklifts and overhead bridge cranes
• Complete required paperwork regarding incoming materials and outgoing customer shipments
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as directed
• Input inventory and shipment data into computer systems accurately
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met
• Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation (USD):
$19.25/hour
Schedule:
2nd Shift
Monday – Friday
2:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to complete forklift and overhead bridge crane certification training
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data into company systems
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet physical demands of the position
