Optometry Tech - Full Time Temporary
Job Description
Experienced Lead Optometry Tech for full time temporary position lasting until February 2027.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1-2 years experience in the Optometry and/or Ophthalmology field
Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and support team members
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
Ability to work well independently while fostering a collaborative team environment
Responsibilities:
Lead and support the team to ensure efficient daily clinic operations
Perform ophthalmic testing and assist providers with patient care
Train and mentor team members while promoting high standards of patient care
Take initiative in identifying workflow improvements and helping the team achieve practice goals
Ensure excellent patient experiences through compassionate and efficient care.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a clinic environment
Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pou nds
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Possess the ability to bend, lift, and climb stairs
Work may involve exposure to operating circumstances requiring standard or prescribed safety precautions.
