Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager oversees all facets of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. This role serves as a trusted partner to leadership, ensuring HR strategies support business goals while maintaining compliance with Florida and federal employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts across Florida operations.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and compensation processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Manage workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and workplace investigations.
• Support employee engagement, training, and professional development initiatives.
• Maintain HRIS records, reporting, and personnel documentation.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and service-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Florida-based operations.
• Strong knowledge of Florida employment practices, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, and workplace compliance requirements.
• Experience managing employee relations, benefits, and recruiting functions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
