Facility Associate

Job Summary

Sunset Wholesale West, LLC is hiring a Janitorial & Facilities Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This role focuses on janitorial cleaning duties along with general facility upkeep to support daily operations.

We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain warehouse floors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming).
• Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility.
• Dust and clean surfaces, shelves, windows, and fixtures.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies as needed.
• Clean spills and maintain safe walking areas.
• Support general facility cleanliness and upkeep.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or warehouse cleaning experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout shift.
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Work Environment

• Warehouse facility environment.
• Physically active role with ongoing movement.
• Exposure to typical warehouse conditions (noise, temperature changes, equipment activity).
