Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet brand cleanliness and presentation standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate team members, maintain quality standards, and help deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and support Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Laundry Attendants to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Assist with daily room assignments and staffing based on occupancy levels and operational needs.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members on housekeeping procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards.
• Monitor inventory of linens, guest amenities, and housekeeping supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns.
• Communicate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are clean, properly maintained, and ready for occupancy.
• Support the onboarding and development of new housekeeping team members.
• Assist in achieving departmental goals related to cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment required.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Marriott experience is a plus.
