Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients upon arrival, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate medical personnel.
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing as needed.
  • Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to facilitate seamless care delivery.
  • Manage waiting room flow to minimize patient wait times and enhance the patient experience.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and managing office supplies.
