Dietary Aide

We are looking for our next best Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. This person performs a variety of tasks for preparation, service, and clean up for resident meals. Our new Dietary Aide will be under the supervision of our Dietary Supervisor and Dietary Director ensuring the provision of quality food service and nutritional care to our residents.

Shifts Available: 7am - 3pm & 12p - 8pm

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director and dietary supervisor

• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures

• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages

• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The dietary aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.

• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization, and safety.

• Prior experience in food service is preferred.

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.
