Position Summary
The Corporate Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, organizational effectiveness, and day-to-day people matters.
This role coaches and develops managers to strengthen leadership capabilities, drive employee engagement, and foster a positive, high-performing culture.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting multiple locations and/or multiple states, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively balance business objectives with employee needs while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Essential Functions
- Partner with leaders and managers to provide proactive HR guidance, coaching, and support on employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective action, and workforce planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, building leadership capability through coaching, consultation, and practical solutions to people-related challenges.
- Conduct thorough, objective, and timely employee relations investigations, partnering with leadership, Legal, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Support managers in addressing performance concerns, developing employees, resolving workplace conflicts, and improving team effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to enhance engagement, morale, productivity, retention, and overall employee experience.
- Analyze workforce trends, metrics, and employee feedback to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that support business goals.
- Partner with HR colleagues and site leaders to implement programs, initiatives, and policies that improve organizational effectiveness and employee outcomes.
- Identify training and development needs and recommend learning solutions that strengthen leadership and employee performance.
- Contribute to departmental goals, projects, and strategic initiatives while ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory requirements across supported locations and states.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance HR service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching.
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and handling complex employee relations matters.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting multiple sites, regions, and/or states in a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Healthcare, specialty pharmacy, home infusion, home health, or other regulated industry experience.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
