This exciting opportunity allows you to be an integral part of our waste management team, where you will drive our state-of-the-art roll-off trucks and contribute to a cleaner environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate roll-off trucks safely and efficiently to transport waste materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload containers at customer sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding service issues.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste transportation.
- Ensure cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle at all times.
- Assist in training new drivers on operational procedures and safety standards.
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Familiarity with roll-off truck operations and waste management practices.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
