Parts Sales Assistant

Mestex is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Sales Associate to support our internal and external customers by identifying replacement parts, preparing quotes, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This role works closely with Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Identify replacement parts using model numbers, BOMs, drawings, and historical records.
• Prepare accurate quotations, pricing, and lead times.
• Enter and process customer orders in the ERP system.
• Track orders and provide shipment updates.
• Coordinate with Engineering on special requests and custom parts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, or parts support experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret technical information and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Manufacturing or HVAC industry experience is a plus.
