Field Service Welder Tech II

Job description:: Field Service technician has experience with welding, mechanic and/or field machining. This position requires welding on heavy mining equipment and energy power equipment. Must be willing to learn all three trades. This position travels, works in adverse weather conditions, at heights and in confined spaces. This position requires working in a safe manner and safety for themselves and others.

Formal Requirements and Certifications of Job –

Required

• 18 years or older
• Safety Oriented
• Ability to work as a team
• Maintain high regard for quality
• Positive attitude
• At least 2 years of job experience in trade
• Welding certification within 90 days (where applicable)

Preferred

• OSHA safety training
• MSHA surface training
• Technical degree in applicable trade
• Qualifications in other trades we work in

• Working in all weather conditions

• Working in confined spaces
• Heavy lifting
• Working moderate to high overtime hours
• Travel
