What You'll Do
Assist the Recreation team in setting up, running, and wrapping up daily activities and programs
Support and encourage resident participation in large group, small group, and one-on-one sessions
Help implement recreational programs that enhance residents' quality of life
Engage with residents during activities, providing hands-on support and a friendly presence
Assist with community outreach and resource coordination as directed
Support the Recreation team with other related duties as needed
What We're Looking For
A "Yes, I can" attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with seniors
Experience in recreation, activities, or a related field preferred
Interest or skill in at least one area such as art, music, dance, trivia, exercise, games, movies, literature, or poetry
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with residents from all backgrounds
Clear communication skills and the ability to encourage and motivate participants
High School Diploma or equivalent required
