Join Our Team as a Foreman II/Installer!

Atlantic Fall Protection, Inc. is a rapidly growing turnkey fall protection company dedicated to eliminating one of the greatest threats to employee safety: falls from elevated work environments. Our office is in North Charleston, SC, we serve customers nationwide. We are seeking a full-time Installer to join our dynamic team. This position requires a commitment of more than 40 hours per week, meet up in person in North Charleston, SC and offers the chance to work on challenging and rewarding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up steel support structures, including mobilization and transport of heavy steel.
  • Develop and execute rigging, mobility, and lift plans as directed by the supervisor.
  • Act as secondary leadership during installations and tasks, operating independently with minimal instruction.
  • Work with the Foreman to plan job site installations upon arrival. Support the Foreman in coordinating and supervising daily tasks and activities on the construction site.
  • Assist in loading and unloading construction materials and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and organized.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety rules, EM385, and OSHA regulations; hold OSHA 30 and Competent Person certifications.
  • Apply and record measurements and adjustments with precision and critical thinking.
  • Model safe work practices, including wearing PPE and reporting safety violations. Recognize and correct unsafe conditions on the job site, with or without the Foreman.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude and appearance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction trades is preferred.
  • Experience in steel erection and installation work is highly applicable.
  • Proficiency in operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and lulls is required.
  • Weekday travel is required, with some weekends.
  • A valid driver's license with reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and gain access to military bases required.
  • Read and understand drawings, plans, and blueprints preferred.
