MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS

Property West Residential is actively recruiting Maintenance Technicians for our communities located for our Carlsbad Portfolio, Del Mar Portfolio, and Encinitas Portfolio.

We are seeking energetic, self-starters who are experienced in the Property Management field. Our ideal candidate is highly organized and motivated leader with a positive attitude, self-initiative and the ability to multi-task diverse assignments and responsibilities including:

• Interior/Exterior painting and ability to use airless sprayer.
• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting
• Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
• Make ready/turnover units for new move in
• Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance
• Complete resident work orders in a quality and timely manner
• Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping
• Pool maintenance experience preferred
• Coordinate special projects as directed by Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Job Requirements

Maintenance and Rehab Technicians must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Maintenance Tech must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

Education/Qualification

High School Diploma or GED Required

Valid Driver’s License Required

Reliable Transportation Required

Maintenance Technicians are required to provide their own tools
