Certified Medication Technician (CMT) and Caregiver - Part Time

Job Summary:

Ridgeway Rehab Center, a 61-bed skilled nursing facility in Catonsville, Maryland, is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CMT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications, monitoring reactions, and providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians

• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report any issues to the nursing team

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident responses

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Medication Technician in Maryland

• 1 year of experience required

• Prior caregiving experience is essential (this is not a med pass only position)
