The Sanneh Foundation is looking for a dynamic Conway Community Center Lead Teacher who will lead the Out-of-School (OST) time enrichment program (Kidztyme). The Lead Teacher is responsible for overseeing program design/development, planning, promotion, participant and staff recruitment, program implementation, as well as directing part-time staff work.
The Conway Community Center Program Lead Teacher’s primary role will be to develop and implement all learning and development-focused programming for youth and emerging adults. This includes 1) curriculum development that integrates academic advancement, physical wellness, and social-emotional learning; 2) planning and implementing enrichment activities for school-age participants; 3) workforce and career mentorship/development of youth workers, leadership training; and 4) technical oversight (scheduling and budgets).
This individual will collaborate with the Sanneh youth-centered team including the Conway Community Center Director and other Program Managers of Athletics in assisting with the planning, design, implementation, organization, marketing, setup, supervision, and garnering resources needed to lead Sanneh’s core enrichment programs and initiatives. Because we serve this is an OST role, this job will require work shifts in the evenings and occasional weekends.
Lead the development of on-site Out of School Time (OST) enrichment programming, with a primary focus on Kidzyme.
Create daily lesson plans with learning objectives.
Manage program supplies and make sure program rooms are ready for programming each day.
Oversee and/or mentor on-site youth workers.
Train on-site youth workers.
Provide mentorship to on-site youth workers.
Oversee the recruitment of seasonal and full-time enrichment staff.
Oversee all OST operations to include schedules and budget.
Collaborate with the Conway Community Center Director to identify and help secure third-party programming opportunities that could be implemented within the Conway Community Center.
Take the primary role of monitoring Program Quality Outcomes and Measures that will impact program design and funding opportunities
Monitor, provide feedback, and make adjustments to enrichment programming as needed.
Follow a continuous learning and improvement cycle.
Oversee data collection and reporting on Sanneh Foundation all site-related goals and objectives.
Ensure the evaluation of programs (in partnership with the evaluation team) on a continual basis and ensure programs/activities respond to community needs and address their gender and cultural diversity.
Oversee proper record keeping and reporting including activities and events conducted, breakdowns of daily participation figures, notable achievements, and any problems/issues.
Collaborate with the branding and marketing department to Increase the visibility of site enrichment programs, announcements of upcoming events.
Coordinate with the staff in the dissemination of timely information for the development of advertising and promotion of programs through mailings, flyers, social media, and media releases.
Relationships
Internal: Maintain close, daily contact with Conway Director, Program Manager, Senior Coordinator, Programming and Facility staff (professionals and volunteers).
External: Maintain contact as needed with external community groups/partners, schools, member's parents, and others to assist in resolving problems and promoting programming occurring at the Conway Community Center.
Required Education & Qualifications
Leadership skills, including negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic working environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, community groups, and partner organizations.
Strong computer and technology skills including Microsoft Office Programs, and Google Suite.
Mentorship skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and managing workforce programs including:
Design
Implementation
Partnership Development
Reporting
Evaluation
Experience in building partnerships with internal and external constituents in a diverse community.
Experience developing and leading enrichment programming for youth.
Experience developing and leading workforce/career development programming for youth and emerging adults.
Preferred Education & Qualifications
Teaching degree and/or relevant experience in an educational setting.
