The Opportunity

We're looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to take the lead on behavior services at our Canonsburg campus. This role calls for someone who pairs strong clinical judgment with hands-on leadership — someone who can build trust with staff, families, and students while keeping programming sharp and compliant.

What This Role Covers

Program Direction

  • Oversee behavior-related services across the South campus
  • Develop programs, procedures, and training materials for staff working with challenging behaviors
  • Ensure PBSPs, ABA programming, and data systems meet best-practice and compliance standards

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain adherence to professional and regulatory requirements
  • Manage behavior analytic programming for your caseload — target selection, data systems, reinforcement strategies, and progress monitoring

Team & Family Communication

  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for faculty, staff, parents, and students
  • Maintain documentation in line with Hope's policies and procedures

Supervision & Record-keeping

  • Ensure data fidelity on IEP goals and ABA curriculum targets
  • Complete supervision hours and documentation for RBT/BCBA candidates
  • Keep accurate, thorough service records

Training & Assessment

  • Lead implementation of VB-MAPP and other skill assessments, FBAs, and Crisis Prevention training
  • Take on additional duties as the role evolves
Requirements

Education & Licensure

  • Master's Degree (required)
  • BCBA certification
  • Behavior Specialist License (BSL)
  • 8-Hour Supervision Course
  • Experience with individuals with developmental delays or disabilities

Clearances Needed

  • Act 33 – PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Act 34 – PA State Criminal History Clearance
  • Act 114 – FBI Clearance (Dept. of Education)
  • Act 126 – Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
  • Act 168 – Previous Employer Disclosure
  • State License of Practice and/or Certification
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • TB Test & Physical
