Lead Toddler Teacher

We're looking for a skilled Toddler teacher to join our Reggio-inspired team at BVS Early Enrichment Center. Our program emphasizes the importance of the natural world, which translates to plenty of outdoor time and natural elements in our classroom.

Our Toddler program operates from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, requiring a 40-hour workweek. We seek an individual with experience in Early Childhood Education to develop a child-centered curriculum, model positive interactions, and support children's growth. The ideal candidate will have prior experience, hold a Lead Teacher qualification, and appreciate the vital role families play in our program. A nature-inspired philosophy is also a must.

• Encourage children's participation and engagement in curriculum activities.
• Ensure the classroom is tidy, well-organized, and equipped with necessary materials.
• Establish regular communication channels with parents, including informal discussions and progress reports.
• Model self-help and good hygiene practices to promote healthy habits in children.
• Facilitate a smooth transition from home to child care center each day.
• Comply with all center policies and state regulations.

• Lead Teacher Qualified in the State of NH, CDA, Associate's Degree or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear a full background check.
• Must pass health screening.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• High energy.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience working with Toddlers.
• Knowledge of the Pyramid Model, NAEYC, and NH CCLU.
• Familiarity with the Reggio Approach to Early Childhood Education.
