EHS Toddler Co-Lead

As an Early Childhood Professional, you will bring warmth, patience, and encouragement to your classroom, inspiring learning that prepares children for success in kindergarten and beyond.

We are seeking an Early Head Start Toddler Co-Lead Teacher to lead a team of teachers and ensure the health, safety, and engagement of our youngest learners.

This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating daily activities that promote social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development in infants and toddlers.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with Ohio Child Care Licensing and Step Up to Quality Regulations, the center’s current curriculum, and Ohio Department of Education Standards.

Responsibilities will include supervising a group of infants, six weeks to three years old, and creating a nurturing environment that promotes health, safety, involvement, and creativity.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Must have a CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education / Child Development and experience working with infants and toddlers is preferred.

Must attend continuing training classes designed to broaden professionalism, education, and skill involving childcare and child development as required by Federal and State regulations and administration.
