Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 08/24/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,887 to $3,070 per week. Guaranteed hours are not provided. Shift is a 4x10 rotating schedule (day/evening). Setting: hospital with a Level I trauma designation and 500+ beds. This travel assignment requires flexibility to meet unit and patient care needs, and includes routine on-call duties as described in the notes.

Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub OR cases across a broad range of specialties, including general OR, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap, trauma, thoracic, and vascular; CVOR cases are not required
- Provide perioperative nursing care from preoperative assessment through postoperative recovery
- Maintain sterile technique, perform instrument counts, assist with patient positioning, and ensure proper labeling of specimens
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the OR team to maintain patient safety and efficient intraoperative workflow
- Document perioperative care in the EPIC electronic medical record within the required timeframe
- Participate in on-call scheduling as specified: one weekday call per week plus one 24-hour call in each four-week block; be flexible to meet unit needs

Requirements
- 2+ years of OR RN experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Large Level I trauma center experience (500+ beds) required
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required
- Circulation and scrub skills for all General OR, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap, trauma, thoracic, and vascular cases; CVOR scrub experience not required
- Certifications: BLS; active RN license (per state requirements) and ability to work in the listed hospital setting
- Circulation and scrub skill checksheets included in the packet; must be able to scrub across the listed specialties
