Six Pillars Financial Advisors, a subsidiary of First Commerce Credit Union, is currently seeking a Financial Advisor. General Summary: Six Pillars Financial Advisors, LLC is in the business of providing financial planning, investment instruments, insurance services and advisory services. As a financial management company, the services will include at a minimum the following: Professional financial planning, advising and assisting persons in the purchase of corporate, government, and municipal bonds, stocks, certificates of deposits, unit investment trusts, fixed and variable annuities, mutual funds, insurance products, and advice concerning investment in individual retirement accounts, 401ks, pension, and profit sharing plans. In addition, Six Pillars Financial Advisors, LLC will engage third parties to assist it in trust and estate planning services, and other financial planning and advisory services. The successful financial advisor r is able to listen to client needs, critically evaluate investment options, and educate clients regarding the best investment decisions to make. The recommendations made should take into account the risk tolerance, liquidity requirements, income level, and long-term goals of clients. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Client RelationsMaintain and deepen relations with existing clientsProspect for new clientsInvestment SolutionsEducate clients regarding the range of applicable investment options available to themDetermine the risk tolerance of clientsDevelop personally tailored investment solutions for clientsFollow through on the investment actions approved by clientsMaintain proper documentation of investment actions taken on behalf of clientsMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of investment productsRecommend strategies clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including advice on debt management, cash management, insurance coverage, and investments.Oversee the investments and making changes as necessary in order to help the individual or company to gain even more money. Handle customer complaints and resolve problems. Requirements: Education: 4 year degree in Business or other related field from an accredited college or university, MBA or other advance degree preferred; Series 7, 66, 63, 65 licenses; CFP preferredExperience: 10+ years of bank or credit union experience Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes:A track record of professional successRelationship-building skills and commitment to establishing long-term clientsStrong desire for performance driven compensation and growing earnings potentialA self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personalityDesire to work from an office in your communityAbility to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients
