PLASTICS PACKER
Monday - Thursday
5:00 pm - 5:30 am
$22.01 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Retrieve finished units from final inspection
- Remove defective sheets from units
- Verify proper placement of I.D. tags on packed units
- Prepare and include installation and instruction kits with each unit
- Accurately count and record packed items
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment
- Follow all required safety regulations and company procedures
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervision
- Follow specific instructions for each unit being packed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of packing procedures, materials, equipment, and computers
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving heavy lifting, bending, and stooping
- Tolerance for heat, chemicals, and dust exposure
- Ability to distinguish between shades of colors
- Steel toe shoes required
- Must be able to transition to 2nd shift when reassigned
