Clinical Educator Infusion RN
Job Description
The Clinical Educator Infusion RN is a hybrid clinical and leadership role. This person is the clinical backbone of our team: the one nurses call when they have a question in the field, the person who sets the standard for how we document and care for patients, and the one who makes sure we're always audit-ready. If you're a seasoned infusion nurse who wants to grow beyond the bedside without leaving clinical work entirely, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do
Clinical Resource & Support
%CF; Serve as the go-to clinical resource for field nurses — answer infusion-related questions in real time
%CF; Troubleshoot clinical scenarios in the field and provide guidance on therapy management
%CF; Support nurses with complex patient situations and escalations
Nurse Onboarding & Education
%CF; Participate in nurse interviews — screen for clinical competency, infusion experience, and culture fit
%CF; Lead clinical onboarding for all new nurses — competency check-offs, IV skills validation, therapy-specific training
%CF; Build and maintain onboarding materials, clinical protocols, and therapy education resources
%CF; Develop ongoing education for the nursing team including annual competencies and new therapy rollouts
Alt-DON Coverage
%CF; Serve as the designated Alternate Director of Nursing when the DON is on vacation.
Startup Flexibility
%CF; We're early-stage and growing — this role will evolve alongside the company
%CF; You'll occasionally be asked to step outside your job description
Requirements
%CF; Active RN license in good standing with ER, ICU, or Infusion experience (multi-state or compact preferred)
%CF; 2+ years of infusion or IV therapy experience — IVIG, biologics, or specialty infusion strongly preferred
%CF; Experience in a home health, home infusion, or ambulatory infusion setting preferred
%CF; Comfort with regulatory and quality documentation (HHA, ACHC, or Joint Commission familiarity a plus)
%CF; Strong communicator — comfortable leading nurse interviews and providing clinical feedback
%CF; Self-directed, organized, and at ease in a startup environment
- IgCN or CRNI certification a plus, not required
