Lead a Growing Field Operations Team

An established and rapidly growing electrical home services company is seeking an experienced Field Manager to oversee residential and commercial installation crews. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with strong knowledge of whole home standby generators and electrical and gas plumbing experience who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee residential and commercial installation crews
  • Hold installers accountable for quality, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Train, coach, and mentor field personnel
  • Perform job site inspections and quality control
  • Order all materials and parts required for upcoming installations
  • Meet with city and county inspectors as needed
  • Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical support to installation crews
  • Assist with scheduling and daily field operations
  • Assist the sales team with scoping and quoting complex residential and commercial projects
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical, fuel gas, and local building codes
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical, gas plumbing, generator installation, or a related trade
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Residential electrical systems
    • Natural gas and propane piping
    • Standby generator installations
    • National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable building codes
  • Proven leadership experience managing field personnel
  • Ability to read plans and troubleshoot complex installations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical experience
  • Gas plumbing experience
  • Experience with commercial power systems
  • Experience working with permitting departments and inspectors
  • Experience working with Georgia Power
  • Manufacturer certifications are a plus
