Affirmed Home Care is growing our Suffolk County caregiver team and is looking for experienced, compassionate HHAs interested in providing quality one-on-one care in clients' homes.

Whether you're looking for additional hours, weekend work, or per diem opportunities that fit around your current schedule, we want to connect with you.

What You'll Be Doing

Every client is different, but your role may include:

• Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as needed

• Medication reminders

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Assisting with mobility and activities of daily living

• Helping clients safely maintain their daily routines at home

What We're Looking For

ACTIVE NEW YORK STATE HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA) CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

Qualified candidates should also have:

• At least 1 year of Home Health Aide experience preferred

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Physical examination completed within the required timeframe

• Current PPD or QuantiFERON documentation, or applicable chest X-ray documentation

• MMR documentation

• A driver's license and access to a vehicle are a plus, but NOT required
