Job Summary:
Cedar Point Care & Rehabilitation, located in Clyde, OH, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents. As a key leader in our nursing department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent patient care and adherence to policies and procedures.
Develop and implement effective departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk.
Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient charts, staffing schedules, and departmental statistics.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, with a strong background in patient care and management.
Current RN license and valid driver's license.
Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
