JOB TITLE: Application Support Specialist


JOB SUMMARY

The Application Support Specialist provides Tier 1 application support by triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving user issues; ensuring accurate ticket handling and documentation; and escalating complex problems as needed.


JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Education, and Physical Requirements)

  • Associate’s degree preferred or 1–3 years of relevant work experience; 3+ years in Property Management preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience supporting technical applications and systems, including the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Demonstrates eagerness to learn, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to remain flexible, multi-task, and organize priorities in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining focus and accuracy.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • In-person work required for the first 90 days; after that, 1–2 remote days/week maximum may be available based on performance. Occasional travel required for property visits and/or Company-wide meetings.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Main responsibilities of the job)

  • Tier 1 Support and Ticket Resolution: Serve as the first point of contact by triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving standard system issues through the ticketing system; escalate when needed.
  • User Account Administration: Execute onboarding, offboarding, and crossboarding in alignment with documented procedures and role-based access requirements.
  • Access Reviews and Maintenance: Assist recurring user audits by validating account accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and supporting remediation.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Base Support: Document ticket resolutions and contribute to knowledge base updates for team consistency and user self-service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to users of varying knowledge and skill levels.
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and maintenance windows with IS vendors; send mass communications for outages, maintenance windows, and related updates.
  • Support software releases, new functionality, maintenance, documentation, property transitions, continual self-improvement, and process improvement.
  • Assist with other responsibilities as directed by leadership.
