Role Summary
The Area Operations Manager is responsible for leading operational performance, leadership
effectiveness, and brand execution across a defined group of venues. This role has direct
operational and financial accountability for company-owned locations and serves as the primary
company representative for partner (third-party) locations, providing advisory support,
operational guidance, and relationship management to help partners operate successful venues
Responsibilities – Company-Owned Locations
For company-owned venues, the Area Operations Manager has direct accountability for
performance, execution, and leadership.
%CF; Directly manage and develop General Managers
%CF; Own aggregate P&L performance across assigned company-owned locations
%CF; Drive revenue performance, labor efficiency, cost control, and profitability. Ensure
venues are operating within approved budgets
%CF; KPI performance, reporting, and conduct regular performance reviews tied to KPIs,
identify performance gaps and drive corrective action
%CF; Enforce operational, financial, and compliance standards
%CF; Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and brand expectations
%CF; Lead GM coaching, corrective action, and succession planning
%CF; Ensure consistent leadership standards, culture, and professionalism across all venues
%CF; Oversee operational readiness for new openings, transitions, or turnarounds
%CF; Serve as escalation owner for operational, personnel, and compliance issues. Ensure
venue needs, escalations, and operational risks are communicated clearly and resolved
efficiently

Responsibilities – Partner (Third-Party) Locations
For partner locations, the Area Operations Manager acts in a non-controlling, consultative
capacity.
%CF; Serve as the face of the primary relationship lead for assigned partner venues
%CF; Build strong, trust-based relationships with partner operators
%CF; Provide operational guidance, best practices, and advisory support as requested or
needed
%CF; Share insights on staffing, service flow, training, and guest experience
%CF; Support partner locations in identifying opportunities to improve performance and
consistency
%CF; Escalate concerns, risks, or repeated issues internally as appropriate
%CF; Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partners feel supported and informed
%CF; Work closely with the assigned company Account Manager, who is responsible for ATM,
CRT, and skill game collections.
Financial management, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operational control remain the
responsibility of the third-party operator.
