Job Description
The Shipper/Receiver performs all work in the warehouse pertaining to shipping & receiving, loading and unloading to meet in accordance with operating/performance measures. They also perform additional duties assigned as required/tasked.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for various tasks such as packaging orders, verifying content for shipping as well as receiving packages
- Provide excellent customer service during shipping and pickup of products;
- Assemble orders accurately according to the sales order;
- Load/Unload outbound and inbound shipments;
- Receive items for resale (beads, chalk, stencil, cones, spray cans, etc);
- Operate all machinery in a safe manner;
- Place all correct SDS and other customer documentation in outbound shipments;
- Ensure warehouse is orderly and kept in a clean and safe manner;
- Additional duties assigned by Shipping Lead or Manager, as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
2 plus years of Shipping/Receiving and Freight handling experience
Forklift Certification (Training provided)
RCRA (Training provided)
DOT Hazmat Certification (Training provided)
