Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Force Motion Group (FMG) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our ASRaymond Maumee facility. This position is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment, material handling systems, and facility infrastructure that support our pick, pack and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtown and ensure on-time customer shipments.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on warehouse equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain and repair material handling equipment including conveyors, packaging equipment, pallet jacks, dock equipment, and other warehouse systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment, identifying potential problems and recommending corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns to minimize disruption to warehouse operations and customer shipments.
- Perform building maintenance including general facility upkeep.
- Install, modify, and relocate equipment, machinery, and racking as needed to support operational requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, inspection logs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, inspections, and facility projects.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate supply needs to ensure critical maintenance items remain available.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity, safety, and cost reduction.
- Assist with warehouse projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work areas.
- Participate in emergency response and after-hours maintenance support when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Working Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Basic computer skills.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required; technical training or vocational certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment.
