About the Role:
As a Food Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our foodservice department, which includes menu planning, food preparation, and delivery of meals to our patients, residents, and staff. Your exceptional leadership skills will be essential in managing a team of foodservice staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and overall facility performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement menu plans that meet the dietary needs of our patients, residents, and staff
Supervise and manage a team of foodservice staff, including cooks, servers, and nutrition assistants
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
Maintain accurate records of foodservice operations, including inventory management and budgeting
Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address patient nutrition needs and preferences
Develop and implement programs to improve patient satisfaction and overall facility performance
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in foodservice management
Requirements:
3 years of experience as a Food Service Director or in a related field
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
