GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounts Receivable Control Coordinator is responsible for the actual account receivable (A/R) activities of the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Daily reconciliation and confirmation of A/R receipt data, including Report Difference on time before closing, monitoring returned check/wires and notifying A/R department, and on time updates and reports.
- Create receipts for company A/R (Freight, Detention, Demurrage, Rebilling, Other Charges), including creating and organizing daily BANK receipt (wire / ACH / Walk-in deposit) and system recording, checking and organizing daily CHECKs from customers and recording receipts, and correctly recording banking transactions in COMPASS and SAP systems.
- Management of suspense receipt
- Management of VIP refund process, including verifying VIP refund amount with tariff of Service Contract, report verification list and approval documents, and requesting VIP refund to Accounting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret A/R system data and program
- Verbal and written communication skills, and good computer aptitude (excel, word, power point, outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with surrounding team members
- Ability to effectively communicate accounting principles in English (required) and Korean (preferred)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Some college education in related field preferred
- Two or more years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and managing outstanding balances and financial records
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets (advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, v lookups) and accounting software (ERP or SAP)
ENVIRONMENT / EQUIPMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work performed in an office environment where the noise level is moderate. Regularly required to stand, sit, and walk around the office. Frequently required to work on a computer.

The pay range listed for this position is the anticipated starting salary or wage range, and the final offered rate will be based on individual merit and the relative compensation of employees in similar positions.
