Full-Time Emergency Medicine NP/PA

Join a busy and collaborative Emergency Department team at St. Joseph's Medical Center. Physician Practice Enhancement (PPE) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform medical screenings, histories, and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform procedures within scope of practice
• Assist with stabilization and management of critically ill patients
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure quality patient care
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Active New York NP or PA license
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, or Hospital Medicine experience preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
