Job Description
Reports To: Principal/Program Coordinator
Position Purpose: Provide academic enrichment to improve student learning.
Qualifications:
Current Kansas Teaching Certificate
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to 2 – 10 hours per week
Knowledgeable about CCSS, technology, remediation/enrichment activities, and children
Willingness to meet the individual academic needs of children through differentiated approaches
Knowledgeable about and understand District policies and procedures.
Performance Responsibilities:
Certified tutors support students in academics, data collection, and analysis.
Provide individual/small group instruction based on student needs
Ensure alternative instructional materials and resources that extend the required concepts
Provide data as requested to the after-school coordinator
Physical/Emotional Requirements: (The incumbent may be required to use the below requirements during any part of the working day.)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, and hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee is required to interact with staff and to meet the demands of several people.
Terms of Employment:
2025-26 School Year
Monday-Thursday from 4:00-5:30
Salary: $25 per Hour
