Who We Are

Maaco Mansfield is among the top-performing Maaco shops in the country with steady growth every single year, and a leadership team being built to take it further. We need a Detailer who takes pride in sending every vehicle out the door looking like it never had any damage in the first place because the last thing a customer sees is the difference between a job thats done and a job thats done right.

The Opportunity

This is not a quick wipe-down role. You are the final checkpoint before a vehicle goes back to its owner. Every swirl mark, missed spot, or piece of overspray left behind reflects on the whole shop and on the trust weve built with our customers and fleet accounts. Youll take vehicles fresh out of the paint and reassembly process and turn them into vehicles that look, and feel, brand new.

Youll work closely with our production team and report to the Paintline Manager, making sure every vehicle leaving our shop meets the standard weve built our reputation on.

What Youll Own

• Full interior and exterior detail of every vehicle prior to delivery washing, claying, buffing, polishing, and finishing to a showroom standard
• Removing overspray, masking residue, and any other paint-process byproducts before a vehicle is marked ready for delivery
• Interior cleaning vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, removing dust and debris from the repair process
• Final quality inspection of your own work catching issues before the Paintline Manager or customer does
• Flagging any repair or paint quality issues you notice during detail to the production team before delivery
• Maintaining detail equipment, products, and work area in clean, organized, ready-to-use condition
• Managing your time to keep pace with the days delivery schedule without sacrificing quality
• Communicating proactively with the Paintline Manager on vehicle status and any delays

Non-Negotiables

• Prior experience detailing vehicles auto body, dealership, or detail shop experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of proper buffing, polishing, and paint correction techniques
• Ability to identify and safely remove overspray without damaging paint
• Strong attention to detail and consistent quality standards
• Ability to manage time and keep pace with a daily delivery schedule
• Integrity our reputation was built on doing the right thing, and you must operate the same way
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collision shop environment
• Ability to stand, bend, and work with detailing equipment for extended periods
