Cashier Clerk

We are a high-energy seafood market and restaurant in the LA area looking for a warm, customer-focused Cashier & Sales Associate to join our team!

If you love connecting with people, enjoy sharing food tips and recommendations, and don’t mind working in a chilly environment while handling fresh fish, we’d love to talk!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Customer Service & Engagement (Main Priority): Greeting every customer, answering questions, offering cooking suggestions, and providing a patient, welcoming experience from start to finish.
• Order Support & Fish Handling: Selecting fresh fish for customers and handing items back to the market cutter for further processing (filleting, skinning, trimming, etc.).
• Pricing & Display Care: Ensuring all display items have accurate price tags, are neatly organized, and stay properly stocked throughout the day.
• End-of-Day Sanitation: Cleaning and sanitizing the display cases at the end of the day after the cutter has safely packed away the fish.
• Checkout & Transactions: Accurately ringing up sales, processing payments, and making sure every customer leaves with a smile.

Hours & Shifts

• Hours: Open 7 days a week from 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Opening Shifts: May require arriving 30 minutes early (5:30 AM) to set up the register area, double-check prices, and prepare for the day.
• Closing Shifts: End once the cash register is closed out and display cases are cleaned after fish removal.
