Caregiver

Join our team as a per diem Caregiver! Employment begins when you accept your first patient assignment, giving you flexibility while making a meaningful impact. Caregivers assist patients with daily living activities, supporting their independence and comfort in the home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engagement to older adults in their homes.
• Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship.
• Encourage patient engagement, independence, and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Follow agency policies and procedures, including HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Home care experience preferred but not required
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS certification recommended

Per Diem Terms

• Employment begins upon first patient assignment
• Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and your availability
• No guaranteed hours; assignments offered according to agency demand

Pay: $17.66 - $20.05 per hour
