CDL Class B Garbage Truck Driver

Shift: First Shift (Start times as early as 5:00 AM)
Schedule: Full-Time | Start-to-Finish Route

Avanta Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable CDL Class B Drivers for a well-established waste and recycling company in the Memphis area. This is a local driving position with no overnight travel and consistent full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial garbage truck on assigned local routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Drive residential and/or commercial collection routes.
• Work closely with helpers to complete routes efficiently.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Report any vehicle or route issues to management.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers and the public.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B License
• Clean driving record preferred
• Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to start as early as 5:00 AM
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Waste industry experience is a plus but not required
