About the Role:
Premier Pediatrics Beverly Hills is looking for a friendly, organized, and dedicated Front Desk Medical Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face of our practice. Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients and families with a warm, professional demeanor
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
- Verify insurance eligibility and process co-pays and patient billing
- Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EHR/EMR system
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls, messages, and patient inquiries
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication with insurance providers
- Ensure front desk area is organized, stocked, and HIPAA-compliant at all times
Requirements:5 years or more of front desk or medical administrative experience, preferably in a pediatric or primary care setting
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and medical billing processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages and families
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, high-volume clinical environment
- HIPAA knowledge and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
