Security Officer – Overnight Patrol
Location: Miami, FL 33181
Pay Rate: $16.00–$17.00 per hour
Schedule: Shift A — 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM
We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Officer – Patrol to become an integral part of our team. The selected officer will patrol and secure the assigned property, identify potential safety or security risks, and help maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the property regularly using a golf cart
- Monitor the premises to prevent theft, violence, vandalism, and violations of property rules
- Inspect doors, windows, gates, amenity areas, and other access points to ensure they are secure and functioning properly
- Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns
- Professionally warn individuals who violate property rules and regulations
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Contact law enforcement, fire rescue, or other emergency personnel when necessary
- Complete accurate and detailed patrol and incident reports
Qualifications
- Previous security experience preferred
- Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License required
- Familiarity with security equipment and patrol procedures
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Must be comfortable conducting overnight golf-cart patrols
