Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic

The Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic will operate primarily in dedicated repair bays within a shared workshop space, focusing on independent vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This role requires hands-on expertise in engine, brake, and electrical system repairs while ensuring safety inspections and preventative maintenance are performed efficiently. Customer interaction is limited, and no travel to off-site locations is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues
• Carry out engine repairs and overhauls
• Maintain and repair brake systems
• Inspect and repair electrical systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prolong vehicle lifespan
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Complete safety inspections to meet regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, brake systems, and electrical systems
• Strong preventative maintenance skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Good time management skills
