Director/Team Lead:

Job Purpose

Provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) team, ensuring high-quality, recovery-oriented care for individuals experiencing first episode psychosis. Oversees team operations, clinical supervision, and community outreach while coordinating individualized treatment services.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health field
  • Licensed or license-eligible clinician preferred
  • Experience with serious mental illness and team-based care
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Core Job Duties

  • Lead and coordinate Coordinated Specialty Care team functioning and service delivery.
  • Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and staff development.
  • Review referrals and monitor clinical status of individuals served.
  • Participate in and oversee treatment planning and team meetings.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for community partners and referrals.
  • Conduct outreach, education, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support after-hours coverage structure for program continuity.
  • Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
  • Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
  • Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
  • Other job duties and special projects as assigned.

Family Education Clinician (FEC)

Job Purpose

Provides family psychoeducation and support to promote recovery, resiliency, and effective coping for individuals experiencing first episode psychosis and their families.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health field, required.
  • Must meet the Department of Mental Health’s Criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
  • Experience working with families, preferred.

Core Job Duties

  • Provide psychoeducation on psychosis and treatment approaches.
  • Support families in building a recovery-oriented environment.
  • Reduce caregiver stress and improve family coping skills.
  • Facilitate family sessions and encourage engagement in treatment.
  • Contribute to collaborative treatment planning and 6-month reviews.
  • Share insights regarding social support and family dynamics.
  • Engage natural supports (family, caregivers, etc.).
  • Participate in weekly NAVIGATE/CSC team meetings and ongoing supervision.
  • Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
  • Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
