This is a seasonal position beginning in June and continuing for 10 weeks. Potential summer earnings are $5,100 (less applicable taxes).
The Unit Head supervises a team of counselors and oversees daily operations within a specialized program for campers with special needs. Supports staff through coaching and feedback, coordinates programming and logistics, communicates regularly with families, and ensures a safe, inclusive environment. Experience working with children with special needs and prior leadership experience required.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, complete First Aid/CPR and required safety trainings, pass a background check, and be able to stay active outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position requires strong communication skills, comfort working with children, and the physical ability to supervise and assist campers—including in emergency situations.
