What You'll Do

As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, or adults within a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based care, supporting recovery goals, and coordinating services to meet the comprehensive needs of individuals served.

Your responsibilities may include:

Therapeutic Services

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Partner with individuals to develop and achieve recovery goals related to mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support aftercare planning and follow-up services

Caseload Management

  • Maintain an active caseload and ensure consistent client engagement
  • Track treatment plans and documentation to meet program and funder requirements
  • Participate in clinical team meetings to review treatment progress and discharge planning
  • Identify and coordinate additional resources and community supports
  • Advocate for individuals to ensure access to necessary services and supports

Administrative & Compliance

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and organizational standards
  • Provide supervision to non-licensed staff as required
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate intervention
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required
  • Master’s degree in a human services field preferred
  • State certification or licensure required or ability to obtain within designated timeframe
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
  • At least 1 year of experience in substance use/drug and alcohol treatment
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Required clearances (as applicable):
    • ACT 33/34
    • PA State PATCH
  • Crisis intervention and behavioral management
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations in behavioral health/residential care
  • Medication administration familiarity (if applicable)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
