Payrate: $18.47-20.00/hr
Job Summary:
The Janitorial/Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in office spaces and manufacturing areas. This role supports daily operations by ensuring cleanliness standards are met in accordance with company and safety guidelines.
The Janitorial/Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in office spaces and manufacturing areas. This role supports daily operations by ensuring cleanliness standards are met in accordance with company and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (desks, door handles, equipment areas)
- Maintain cleanliness in manufacturing areas, including walkways and workstations
- Refill restroom and break room supplies
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors
- Adhere to company policies, OSHA, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience required
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in both office and industrial environments
