We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Assistant to support our 1-year-old classroom. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with toddlers, thrives in a team environment, and is excited to help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for early learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom routines and activities
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and maintaining proper hygiene practices
- Engage with children through play, conversation, and hands-on activities
- Help create a warm, responsive, and safe classroom environment
- Assist with implementing lesson plans and age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring active engagement and safety
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with team members and families
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry toddlers
- Ability to sit, bend, and move frequently between floor and standing positions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong communication and positive attitude
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
