We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Assistant to support our 1-year-old classroom. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with toddlers, thrives in a team environment, and is excited to help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for early learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom routines and activities
  • Assist with diapering, feeding, and maintaining proper hygiene practices
  • Engage with children through play, conversation, and hands-on activities
  • Help create a warm, responsive, and safe classroom environment
  • Assist with implementing lesson plans and age-appropriate activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
  • Supervise children at all times, ensuring active engagement and safety
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with team members and families

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry toddlers
  • Ability to sit, bend, and move frequently between floor and standing positions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong communication and positive attitude
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
