Physical Therapy Aide

The Physical Therapy Aide plays a crucial role in supporting both therapists and physical therapy assistants by assisting patients, preparing equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position involves direct, face-to-face patient interaction and operates within a structured routine to ensure efficient and effective therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during therapy sessions and exercises
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and tools
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the therapy area
• Keep accurate records of patient activities and therapy sessions
• Support therapists and assistants with exercise routines
• Coordinate patient appointments and schedules
• Follow safety protocols and compliance standards
• Occasionally manage inventory related to therapy supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in physical therapy support
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Skills in patient assistance and equipment maintenance
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic knowledge of anatomy
